Long Bien ICD – VNILB port code, was established under Decision No. 711 / QD-BGTVT dated April 20, 2020 of the Ministry of Transport, located at No. 1 Huynh Tan Phat, Sai Dong B Industrial Park, Long Bien, Hanoi, with a total area of 120,000m2, exploiting capacity of 135,000 TEUs, is scientifically planned and equipped with modern machinery and equipment systems, operating 24/7.
Long Bien ICD is an extension arm with the system of seaports, airports and land border gates from north to south, 100 km from Hai Phong port, 122 km from Lach Huyen port, 26km from Noi Bai international airport. 126km Chinese border, is the gateway to key industrial zones in the North, convenient traffic, easy to connect with the provinces of Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen and many northern provinces.
On May 25, 2020, Long Bien ICD was recognized by the Ministry of Finance of Decision No. 769 / QD-BTC as a place for customs procedures at the inland port of import and export. Imported goods will be transported directly to Long Bien ICD and open declarations to help businesses save time, optimize costs, reduce contact points and congestion at seaports.
